Literature and Culture Teaching Materials

Literature and culture teaching should not be thought separate from the use of audio-visual materials. In my teaching, I teach literature by using a great number of visual materials to support and enhance learning . In my short story teaching plans I teach literary terminology and the knowledge of the literary period with visual materials in pre-reading and in-reading stages. My observations show me that literature teaching supported by visual materials increases success and helps creating a positive classroom atmosphere that is conducive to learning.
